TYPE : Pet Robot

DESCRIPTION :

Lucy is a small three-wheeled robot that moves across the floor. It can move parts related to the direction and expression of its face, and it outputs electronic sound through a built-in speaker. By combining movement, stopping, facial motion, and sound, Lucy creates small reactions within the performance. It does not include complex conversation functions or autonomous human-following behavior. Its presence is constructed through physical motion and sound.

CONCEPT :

Lucy is a small machine covered with a socially constructed form of cuteness. Its facial movements and sounds are simple, but people read them as reactions, personality, or voice. As the role given from the outside becomes stronger, another quality begins to appear from within.
